Ilima-Lei Macfarlane

Ilima-Lei “The Ilimanator” Macfarlane was born and raised on the island of ‘Oahu until she left to attend SDSU for college. There she received a Bachelors Degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, all while competing as an amateur MMA fighter. Upon graduation she decided to turn professional and instantly signed with one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world, Bellator MMA. It was there that she worked her way up to eventually become the promotions inaugural Female Flyweight World Champion. She is currently the 3x defending world champion with an undefeated professional record of 10-0. Her other passions outside of fighting include working with indigenous communities and the youth. She currently has a scholarship for young native girls that promotes self-reliance, empowerment and physical safety.
